Knitted Scarves

Hi everyone!  happy Thursday to you!

Below are two knitted scarves I made last week.  One is a summer scarf birthday gift for a little girl and one is a Christmas present for my mother-in-law.  Can you guess which one is for whom? ;)
Summer Scarf:
Size 15 knitting needles
1 Skein fun fur
10 stitches cast on, knit stitch all the way
weave in ends

Christmas Present:
Size 15 knitting needles
2 skeins thick wool blend
8 stitches cast on, knit stitch all the way
weave in ends

I love scarfs...these are darling. I really like the colors used in both of them. The wool one really catches my eye, during winter time I love to wrap them around and you can never have too many. I have never knitted before, I don't know that I can take up yet another hobby...you know what I mean!

I too am a scarf person. I want the wool one!! I can cross stitch and crochet, but have only knitted once, so I do not understand the lingo... but I still want to wear the wool one!!!!! love it!

You are so creative Mariam! I like to do yarn crafts too. I crocheted 7 afghans last winter for Christmas presents. It was fun but a lot! LOL
