Cricky Across the 50 Blog Hop!

A Big Cricut Hello & Chirp to each of you! Welcome to the Cricky Across the 50 Blog Hop hosted by K Andrew of Getting Cricky!  If you are here from Chris Hanselmaan of Chris' Crafty Creations from the Corner then you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go to KAndrew's Getting Cricky!  For this blog hop K Andrew is celebrating her big move across the country with a big road trip, and of course this hop across the 50 states! She has asked us all to post a little bit about the state we are representing, and then to post our Favorite Craft Project. I am representing the state of Washington.  I lived in this beautiful state for three years and I still miss the yummy salmon!!!

I lived in the Seattle area and, only a day's drive away, you can ski, visit a desert, visit an indian reservation, roam in downtown Seattle's Pike Place Market, or hike down to view Snoqualmie Falls.  My fave thing to do was to take the ferry over to Bainbridge Island in Puget Sound.  Beautiful!!!!

I have two fave projects to share with y'all today.

JEWELRY:
This was a set that I made for a charity event.  I used sterling silver, emerald beads, pearls, and swarovski crystals.

PAPER CRAFTS:
This was truly a 'from scratch' mini album for my in-laws.  Click here to see the pics of all the pages.

The mini album you made for your in-laws is truly a work from the heart. It is beautiful. My youngest granddaughter is in treatment for Leukemia. She was diagnosed just 6 days after her 2nd birthday and is now 4 years old. She had her last IV chemo treatment this week and only has 12 days left of oral chemo to complete. We are so excited for this new phase for her. She does not remember a time when she was not in treatment. She is my hero!
