Thank You Cards

Hi everyone!!!

I made two thank you cards today and thought y'all might like to look at the creative process :)  I like making cards in multiples as I can get two done in just a little more time than it takes to make one :)

much love!

The Power of Prayer - Thank You

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this time.  Chuck's mom had a successful spine surgery yesterday and doctors say she is recovering well so far.  This is what the power of prayer can do and I am amazed every time, every single time.  I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your mighty prayers and love.

humbly,
mariam

Thank You Card for Cricut Cozy

So, I got my new cricut cozy in the mail last week.  Click here to check it out!!  It is awesome!  The lady who makes these cozies is totally awesome and I made her this Thank You card :)  Check out her blog here.  I used random stuff and the traffic jam cuttlebug embossing folder.  I also used an envelope template from http://svgcuts.com/ and my cricut to make a coordinating envelope :)

Thank You Cards for job training in GA

Hi Everyone!  Happy Sunday!!!  Today I overslept and totally missed church!!!  (When I work Saturdays, it takes a lot out of me...)  Opened my eyes at 11:15!!!!!  Don't y'all hate it when that happens?!?!  Anyway, as I was waiting for hubby to get home, I made a few cards...

I work at a lighting store and some of us went for training to GA...  I made three of these thank you cards for the people who were presenters at our training :)

I used my cuttlebug machine and a SU stamp set.....

Girl Fun

I had SO much fun meeting a new friend.  She is the other half of one of my co-workers and we had never met, but had spoken on the phone a few times.  We got together for food and scrapping last week and I had a BLAST!  She even cooked dinner!!  A yummy turkey meat loaf and mashed potatoes.  We talked and talked and she scrapped while I cut boxes for my easter goodies (Pics coming soon!).  I have been thinking about scrapping for a while now and have been intimidated.  She was so inspiring that I am actually going to scrap too!!!!  I hope to post stuff here for public viewing in the near future :)

Anyway, below is the thank you card front and inside and the envelope that I cut with my cricut.  I love making my own envelopes!

Thank You Card

Hi Everyone!  So, after Chuck's 40th party, during which he was a sort of grumpy old man, I thought I would make everyone thank you cards for helping make the party awesome :)

I used scrap paper from my stash (I will eventually get the paper source for y'all!)

For this project, I used Sure Cuts Alot (SCAL) software for the Mac and a 'Thank you' SVG file from www.svgcuts.com.

The blue circle, I just cut out using the Plantin Schoolbook cricut cartridge.

I used my cuttlebug to emboss the sides of the card with flowers from the edge borders set 'With Love'.

For the thank you's, I didn't want to mess with glue for all the pieces so I ran them through my Xyron and they came out as stickers!  So easy to place on the blue circles!

Used a pink stamp pad to highlight the flower petals and stuck one flatbacked 'bling' in the center of one flower :)

Voila!
