It is a really simple layout but I love it!!!  I am finally getting started on our wedding album, almost FIVE years later!!!

This is the picture I will be adding to the photo mat after playing with it in Photoshop.

--My second project is an easel 'Thank You' card.  I had a lot of fun coloring in my fairy :)

When worried, I make cards...

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday to you!
I am stressing waiting to hear news of my MIL who was taken to the ambulance this evening.  So, I made two cards to help calm my mind.  It helped, sort of, not quite, not...  Anyway, I ended up making two cards instead of chewing my nails off...  I CASED the second card, but from where, I cannot remember.  If you know, please let me know so I can give proper credit :)

Family's Celebration

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday to you!!

I hope y'all are enjoying the blog hop we have going on.  :)

Below are two cards I made for my family.  They are celebrating a special religious occasion on Sunday and I wanted to get these cards out to them in a timely fashion.  If you are curious, I am Christian and the rest of my family is Muslim.  I talk to my mom and sister on a regular basis and I am still hoping to restore relations with my dad and brother.  :)  I love them dearly and I made these cards with lots of heart.  I miss them a whole lot and was thinking about the special memories that are attached with celebrating this day with them...

Misc Christmas Paper
D'Vine Swirls CB embossing folder
SCAL Software
SU! Dazzling Diamonds
Cricut Expression

All of this, including the envelopes, was cut on the cricut using SCAL software.  The words were welded (LOVE that feature) and then cut as were the circle cards (2 circles welded).

- Sponge the white border of the card using the red cat's eye stamp pad.
- Cut the remaining blue paper and the other red and blue papers in 1.5" squares for 9 squares total.  Glue the squares to 4.5" white square.  Use brayer to ensure paper is stuck well.
- Cut this square using Spellbinders die.  Use 3-D adhesive to 'pop' this to front of card.
