Another Christmas mini

Hi everyone!  Christmas is almost here!!!!

This is a mini for my in-laws.  Chuck (my hubby) was not an only child.  He had a sister who was two years older than him who died of leukemia when she was 5.  I wanted them to have a little mini for pictures and a place where they could journal a little bit about her...  Linda Marie...
It will be a family project to gather pictures of her for the album.

Much love,

Christmas Mini Album

Hi all!

I was inspired by watching Tim Holz's 12 Tags of Christmas tutorials and videos and I decided to cut chipboard from the Stampin' Up! Top Note die and make a holiday mini...  I used a Cinch to bind and I staggered the length of the three pages for added interest...

Women's Retreat Prezzies

Hi everyone!

It has been a while, I know.  Low iron issues had me benched on the sidelines for a bit.  I am ready to play now :)

I made these mini pocket albums as a sort of journal for my church ladies.  They went on the Annual Women's Retreat to Ocean City (beachfront loveliness!!!!).

Am working on Christmas gifts and will post again soon!  I have missed you all!!!

TP mini album - my very first album. EVER!

Hi Everyone!  Below are pics of my very first album.  I am really pleased with it :)  I made it for my in-laws to remember their little girl who died from Leukemia when she was five years old - Linda Marie Satchell.  She was 3 years older than my Chuck, who is 40...  I am planning to help them add pictures to this and some journaling...

I was inspired to make this by Linda Marie and also by the encouragement of a good friend of mine - Carey :) who is an awesome scrapper!!!!

Ingredients are below the pics.  Oh, and there was one comment from earlier and even earlier than that! about my secret new toy - it is the Cinch from We R Memory Keepers.  I used it to bind my mini :)

- 5 rolls of TP (we use Scott, in case y'all were wondering!)
- 5 sheets of coordinating paper (I used Basic Grey)
- various eyelets, ribbon, embellishments, lots of love
- Tools used: Crop-a-Dile, Cinch, Cuttlebug (to cut and emboss the butterflies)
- Various adhesives

Note: tags were cut to fit right in the TP roll at 4.5" by 2.375" (the next line after 2.25)

Enjoy!
Tata for now!

Sneak Peek, Firsts, and Chuck's card :)

Hi everyone!!!!
Long post, this one!

Here is a sneak peek of the 'thing' I was telling y'all about here.  I was playing with my new toys last week and made this.  Still finishing it up.  Any guesses as to my new tool helper to make this project? :)

The following is my first attempt at using a digital stamp (freebie!) and watercoloring with my SU! watercolor pencils and the watercolor tool thinigie.  Lemme know what you think!

Finally, below is a Father's Day card I made for Chuck.  It will be from the guinea pigs (yes, we are pathetic!) :)  He loves hunting and I thought this was appropriate....

Enjoy the long weekend!  I will try and post somthing on Monday :)  We are having a BBQ with my in-laws on Sunday and I am so excited! We always have a blast :)

tata for now!
